12/21: GTL proponent, ANGTL, heartened by Wall Street Journal report of Congressional action:  "The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ruling eliminates 95% of smog-causing nitrogen oxides and 90% of small particulate matter soot from diesel emissions. By reducing these emissions, the EPA is hoping to prevent “…8,300 deaths and 360,000 asthma attacks believed to be caused by these pollutants…”

2/7:  Dallas Morning News reports Alaskan producers agree on pipeline study.

2/4:  Yukon Government: Western Governors Support.

6/4:  CBC.  Natural gas from the Mackenzie Delta could be heading to southern Canada and the United States, and the aboriginal people in the area want a piece of the action . . . a big piece. A meeting between native leaders and industry players has moved a pipeline down the Mackenzie Valley a step closer to reality.
